Today I headed to the Town Bridge; as usual, these young swans have paired up together, almost losing their baby feathers now.

They look so cute. Talking of cuteness, I came across this dog, who seemed to have enjoyed the water.

I made my way to the Park; I love how everyone is making the most of our green spaces.
I continued on my way, heading to the old railway track; I noticed how beautiful blossoming trees have blossomed.

As I nearly got to the track, I noticed these lovely ladies and the go enjoying their boat on the river.

and this cute little family

Which made my heart melt. I am definitely enjoying spring with my camera.
As I got on the old railway track, I decided I would turn left and then go over a bridge and explore where this lane was heading too, as I don't know about you, I need a change of scenery from time to time.

As I explored this lane, I noticed it went over the railway line; a father and son were waiting patiently for a train to go under the bridge.
I finally arrived at the end of the lane, which came out the other side of Chippenham. When I looked right, I saw a sign for a tiny Village called Langley Burrell; I decided I would carry on walking to the Village in my wisdom.
The Village is so beautiful with old buildings and a lovely pub. One day when I visit again, I can pop into the pub.
I aimed to find the bridge which went over the River Avon, but no luck, I didn't find it this time. As it was a nice day, I thought I would continue to another village called Sutton Benger. On the way to Sutton Benger, the scenery was beautiful.
I noticed a sign for Sutton Meadows; I decided to have a peep.
After my detour, I arrived at Sutton Benger, another beautiful village.
By this time, my legs were starting to ache, so it was time to head home. I loved every minute of exploring different ways; next time, I must study the Public Footpaths more.
On my route home, I came across a lovely rabbit and Blue Tit.
and this amazing scenery
I managed to get home in time to watch the Grand National, which was amazing as Rachel Blackmore made history by being the first female rider to win the Grand National.

Today I only decided on a short walk after my marathon yesterday. Today I decided to explore the fields by the River Avon. The views were beautiful, and it was so peaceful. A few people were walking their dogs.
Loving the trees.
As I walked around the fields, I noticed some footpaths, but I will explore them another day, as I didn't want to overdo it today as I had a long walk yesterday. I made a loop and headed towards the town centre, following the path by the River.
As I was walking, I was amazed to come across this, as I never knew it was there.
This is why I like exploring as you find out a little bit of history about your local patch.
I arrived in the town centre, grab some lunch and decided I would make a loop of the park before I head home. The Mallards were having a whale of a time washing and grooming themselves.
I carried on walking over the bridge at the other end of the park and noticed people having fun on the river.

Then walked into the street a little way, down a path to get on the other side of the River, came across the lovely blackbird and beautiful bee.
My adventure through the park came to an end, and I headed home, seeing this lovely Robin.

And this beautiful cat, who decided to roll over, but as always, animals don't wait for you to get the right focus.🤣
To end my perfect walk today, I had a hot bath, and my neighbour brought round a roast dinner for me. I had a charming weekend which I am grateful for.
