I hope everyone enjoyed their Easter Weekend. I certainly enjoyed having four days to relax. I planned to spend time with my Sister on Friday, having lunch. Photography days Saturday and Sunday. Monday a chilled day.

My day out today was Batheaston to the Sydney Gardens in Bath and Henrietta Park in Bath, which my therapist told me about in our session, so I thought I would give it ago.
The first Stop was Batheaston Secret Garden, which is a lovely little garden with pretty flowers.
My next stop would be Bathhampton Canal; on the way to the Canal, I came across Sheep, Canadian Geese, Dogs, beautiful landscapes.
On the Canal, I had fun photographing the swans as they were so close to the bank. I sat on the path, happily snapping away.
I continued along the Canal to reach my next destination, Sydney Gardens. As I was walking, I came across the little farm. The pigs were not happy that their owner fed the chickens and ducks before them.
As I continued walking, I captured the following with my camera:
I reached the Sydney Gardens, which are going under some refurbishment, which will be exciting to see the result. Here are a couple of photos.
I reached my final destination, Henrietta Park, which was truly a beautiful, lovely park. I was glad my therapist mentioned to me about the park. It's amazing for a city how many green spaces there are. Here are some photos.
I met this lovely dog, she was gorgeous, but my vision of taking lovely photos of her going through the long grass when out the window, as she had other ideas and wanted to sit on my lap, so the photo ended up as a really close up, but you couldn't resist though eyes.

Today I planned to visit The Court Gardens in Holt; unfortunately, my car decided to be poorly Friday evening, a warning light came on when I was in Lacock. I panicked inside but managed to get it home, and the mechanic is now looking into it.
Instead, my outing today was to walk along the Chippenham to Lacock Canal walk; I only went to the bridge today as I had to walk back. I decided on the way back I would follow the cycle path to the Town Centre Eas, as I wanted to eat my lunch in Monkton Park. I managed to find my way, I wasn't sure I was walking down the right street, but I knew my bearings roughly and then walked a different way home; again, I wasn't sure if I was going the right way, but I managed to get to the field where I walked at the start of my route. Even though it's not the day I planned (my therapist would have said the court gardens are not going anywhere, you can do this another day), I did enjoy my walk and was totally exhausted afterwards.
My lovely neighbour had a roast dinner ready for me and a chocolate brownie with some ice cream, followed by a hot bath with a bath bomb to soak my poor feet.
Here are some of the photos from today's walk.
