After picking my Sister up from work this morning, I decided I would visit Shearwater Lake, as I have always seen the signpost for the Lake when driving past, but never been there, so today, I took the opportunity.
I parked in the Carpark and then made my way to the lakes, where I met the ducks and admired the beautiful Lake.
After taking in the view, I started to make my way along the path, I glanced around, and Herron suddenly appeared. It was getting ready to catch a fish, but I was unlucky to see that.
As I continued, I spotted a boat.

After admiring the boat, I noticed a track and decided to explore the path going through the woods; I only went so far up and then turned around to go back down as I wasn't sure where the trail would lead.
The birds didn't want to play today 🤣
I reached the Lake again and continued walking by the side of the Lake; a couple of ducks were hiding.
Then I spotted the Herron in the tree.

I did spot a Kingfisher, but it was too quick for me to capture it with my camera.
Cormorants were having fun.

Ducks were flying

I then went behind the barrier and turned left to walk down the track, thinking I could get to walk around the Lake.
The birds were tricky again.
People enjoy being on horseback exploring the woods.
Beautiful Trees
The track was going on forever, so I decided to turn around and go back the way I came as I didn't want to get lost as this was my first time here. I will save my adventurous side for another day.
I let the Runners pass me, as it's a perfect opportunity to take a photo.

I managed to capture a decent picture of a green tit; eventually, I think.

I eventually got back to the Lake.

Cormorants having fun
As I continued to walk towards the Jetty, the ducks had fun washing.
I reached the Jetty and decided to hang around for a bit. The ducks and Cormorant made most of using the Jetty.
After the fun, I headed back to the car park to go home. I definitely will be visiting again as I enjoyed the morning.
