Today, I decided I would try a different route. My route today was walking the Chippenham to Lacock Canal walk.
As I started my journey with my camera in tow. I met a lovely couple with their dog, which showed me how to get to the start of the canal walk, which I would have never found as I would continue into the town center.
As I was walking around the fields, I came across this view and birds in the fields.
I had to head in the bridge's direction, which was a relief that I found, which I couldn't miss really as it was bright.

I walked under the bridge, and I came across these dogs having fun on the other side.

After I got to the other side of the bridge, walking along the path, I took the following photos.
I was glad to see this signpost.

I took a wrong turn along the way; luckily, some nice ladies pointed me in the right direction.
Back on track, I took the following photos.
I managed to reach the Wilts and Berks Canal. This is the first time I have done this walk, and the canal is so beautiful and peaceful. Volunteers are busy restoring the canal,

but I cannot wait to see what they do next.
In my wisdom, I decided to carry onto Lacock. On the way, I met a fellow photographer who lives on the doorstep. He was a lovely chap and gave me a few tips, which I appreciated.
Here are some photos of the canal walk towards Lacock
At the end of the track, I crossed a road and into another field and saw this building.

I knew I reached Reybridge and wasn't far away from my destination Lacock.
By this time, I was exhausted and started to ache, which means I didn't take any photos of Lacock today. Even though I was exhausted, I really enjoyed my walk, and I came away feeling calm and relaxed. My mind was feeling calm after the busy week I had this week.
