It was nice to spend a day by the sea with my Sister and Niece on 27th January 2023. It was a perfect end to the week off work, as I did plenty of self-care, including a spa day.

We decided to go to Durdle Door; I hadn't been to Durdle before my first visit. When we were driving down, it was cloudy and had a bit of drizzle, but when we arrived, we had lovely blues skies, and the sun came out; even though it was cold, it was good to have the sun and to be in the fresh air.

We parked up and started walking down the track, following the signs.

And came across a t junction. We decided to go down the first lot of steps.

And found a place to sit and admire the view.

As I was getting lost in the view, a woman and her dog came to the sea, where she got caught by the wave and started running; the dog loved it.

My sister and niece came back from their mooch around we decided to go to the other side to look. We went back up the steps, where I was getting out of breath, so unfit. Glad to have a halt at the top and then walked down the steps and was greeted by these views.

After taking in the views, we walked back up the steps and then up the hill, needing several breaks to get my breath back and made it back to the car in the car park.

We decided to head into Weymouth for a bite to eat, a bit of shopping and to the Arcade, where my niece managed to win a cuddly toy; she is quite the expert on it.

Here are my photos of Weymouth.

After our time in Weymouth, it was time to drive home; we went via Trowbridge to have a Wagamama's, which perfectly ended the day.
