Being Creative

Do you ever get a thought in your head, which you cannot shake? This has happened a couple of times to me, which I get the bit between my teeth? Which I needed to create from that moment.

The first moment was creating a collage in Lightroom. I visited the Kennet and Avon Canal at Devizes last year, which I was lucky to see a Barge Boat heading towards the lock and going through it.

I had no idea where to start, so I searched on Google and found a YouTube video, which I followed and came up with this.

I was delighted with my first attempt. I am hoping to create more collages in the future.

My Second creative idea came when we were set a photo challenge from the Photography club. The theme was three; for some reason putting a photo in letters popped in my head.

That evening I spent searching on Google to do this and started creating this idea in Photoshop.

It wasn't an easy creation, as there were three levels off, background overlay. I kept playing and pausing the YouTube tutorial. Even though the process was complex, I really enjoyed learning something new and was really proud of what I achieved.

I cannot wait to give this another go shortly.
